I'm a language educator and educational technology enthusiast with over a decade of experience in language instruction, curriculum design, and public speaking. After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, I began my journey teaching learners across various levels, from high school students to adult professionals.
My work blends creativity, compassion, and cultural awareness with the power of modern tools.
I have led workshops, designed bilingual learning curricula, and developed innovative educational experiences for learners of all ages and across multiple disciplines, bringing energy and connection to everything I do. As a committed lifelong learner, I continuously seek innovative ways to make language learning accessible, fun, and meaningful—whether in person or online.
Today, I specialize in crafting engaging digital learning content, supporting inclusive education, and using instructional design principles to support educators and learners in multicultural contexts.
One of my favourite parts of visiting Ottawa was touring the House of Commons—the heart of Canadian politics
Whether online or in person, I love creating engaging learning experiences.
I grew up in Ensenada, Mexico, where I taught myself English through a love of North American movies and TV. That passion for language grew into a deep appreciation for storytelling, reading authors like Isabel Allende and Margaret Atwood, and enjoying music in both Spanish and English.
Since my first visit to Canada in 2021, I’ve explored places like Lethbridge, Calgary, Banff, London, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. These experiences have shaped my love for cultural exchange and bilingual communication.
I’m an active member of Toastmasters in English and Spanish, and I’m passionate about stand-up comedy—both as a fan of Trevor Noah and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, and as a performer. I trained at Second City’s Stand-Up School in Toronto and have performed at Yuk Yuk’s, both live and online.
When I’m not teaching or writing, you’ll likely find me laughing, reading, or geeking out over comic books and superhero films.
I’ve loved superheroes since I was a kid—talking about and reading comics are my happy place. 🦸♀️
Performing stand-up is where I bring laughter, culture, and storytelling together.
Every trip to Canada has deepened my appreciation for its cities, culture, and kind people.
